(Cleves, Oh.) – First responders in Cleves had to handle two accidents with injuries involved Tuesday afternoon.

A car wrecked into a building on East State Street near the corner of Dowlings Street. When the vehicle hit the building, it caused a chimney to collapse along with live power lines. A gas leak was also reported.

The driver was trapped inside until firefighters were able to free him. The unidentified victim was rushed to an area hospital, where his current condition is not available.

The cause of that crash is still under investigation.

A second wreck occurred in the afternoon on Mount Nebo Road. A car pulled into the path of a Ford Explorer causing a collision. Both drivers were taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to WLWT-TV.
