Warmest spring in Tri-state since late 1800's

It's Officiall. This was the warmest spring on record in the Tri-State since the spring of 1878.  The average temperature in March,  April and May this year was over 59 degrees.  The daytime average high temp this spring was over 70.  The National Weather Bureau predicts this summer to be warmer than normal.

Hebron daycare closed due to fire

A Hebron daycare will be closed a few days while repairs are made following a fire there on Friday.  The fire at the Prodigy School on Barbara Drive was confined mostly to the kitchen but about 50% of the building received smoke damage.  All children and teachers were able to get out safely.

Fire damages home in Florence

Fire caused extensive damage to a home in the 6500 block of Louise Court in Florence Friday night.  Several fire departments from Boone and Kenton counties responded to the blaze after receiving the call just before 7pm. No one was at home at the time of the fire, however a dog that was inside died.

Vevay police and a Kentucky Special Crimes Unit arrested a man in Georgetown Kentucky on charges of child molesting that occurred in Switzerland County.  62 Year Old Harold V.
