A measure expanding background checks for gun purchases has failed in the Senate.  The vote 54-46 was short of the 60 votes needed for passage.  The background checks measure was thought to have the best chance of passage among a number of bills curbing gun violence.

Indiana is over hauling it’s foreclosure prevention fund so more homeowners are eligible for aid.  Under the new guidelines…homeowners can get money from the fund if they are still working but financially distressed. Hidden Valley Lake teen located

The Hidden Valley Lake teenage girl who was missing for two days was located Wednesday afternoon and is safe.  16-Year Old Melissa Davis was reported missing on Monday after she was last see near a wooded area at Hidden Valley Lake.  No details have been released about where she has been for 2-days.
