(Indianapolis, Ind.) - A class action lawsuit has been filed against the state of Indiana on behalf of all of the victims of the State Fair stage collapse.
Seven people were killed when the stage went down in a storm before country duo Sugarland were to take the stage.
The lawsuit was filed by Cohen & Malad, LLP of Indianapolis in Marion County Superior Court and seeks the maximum $5 million compensation total for all victims. That cap has been in place since 2003.
