(Rising Sun, Ind.) - A groundbreaking is scheduled Wednesday at Rising Star Casino in Rising Sun, but city and casino officials are being tight lipped on what it’s for.

A release from the City of Rising Sun publicizing the groundbreaking only terms the mystery project as “an exciting new economic development opportunity.”

“You will not want to miss this opportunity to be one of the first to learn about progress and the infusion of new jobs in our community,” the announcement said.

The groundbreaking takes place at 4:00 Wednesday afternoon in the casino parking lot, weather permitting. In the event of rain, the event will be held inside the Rising Star Casino Resort Pavilion.
