(Napoleon, Ind.) - Not one, but two armed robberies were reported in Ripley County on Thursday.
Eagle 99.3 told you already about a 3:00 a.m. holdup at the Huck’s gas station in Batesville in which the robber got away. There was a second hold-up in Napoleon about 6:00 p.m.
In the later robbery, a man entered the Youngman’s Marathon in Napoleon, pointed a gun at the clerk and took money. The suspect left the store on foot.
The suspect was described as being about 5'6” to 5'8” tall and weighing about 130-140 lbs. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark colored work-type jacket with hood, and dark colored tennis shoes.
It’s unclear if the two robberies are connected. The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
