(Greendale, Ind.) - Cash was taken during a robbery at the Ameristop gas station convenience store in Greendale over the weekend.

A man walked into the store at the corner of Belleview Drive/State Road 1 and U.S. 50 about 8:15 Saturday night. When the cash register drawer was open, he reached across the counter and grabbed money.

The suspect – described as a black male about 6' to 6'2" with a tall, slender build – was seen fleeing in a red or maroon Lincoln Navigator.

No weapon was shown during the robbery and nobody was hurt.
