Body Found In Pond On Casino Property

Lawrenceburg authorities and the coroner responded to the riverboat casino on Memorial Day.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Police say there is no foul play suspected in the death of a man at Hollywood Casino on Memorial Day, May 27.

Police responded at around 9:30 a.m. to a report of a body floating in a pond next to the casino’s pavilion parking garage.

No name has been released pending notification of next of kin.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police said there is no indication the victim was participating in any gaming while on the casino property.
