Denise Gunter died Friday, August 29.
Visitation will be Monday, September 1 at Adams Lutheran Church from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Services will be Tuesday, September 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Denise Gunter is survived by husband Daniel Gunter; daughters Danielle Konradi and Deanna and Nicole Gunter; parents Herman and JoAnn Douglas; two grandchildren; one brother Mike Douglas.
Proceeds can go to Adams Lutheran Church or Cancer Research.
Lucille M. McKain - Dillsboro, IN
Lucille M McKain, 87, of Dillsboro, IN, formerly of Aurora, Indiana, died Sunday, August 31, 2008 in Lawrenceburg, IN.
The
family would also like to honor the life of Lucille's husband,
Harry N. "Gabby" Mc Kain who was missing in action from WWII. He
was 2nd Lt. in the Army Air Corp. He was a co-pilot on a
B-24 Liberator.
She was born Tuesday, June 21, 1921 in Aurora, Indiana, Daughter of the
late Earl Stierman and the late Irene Witte Stierman
She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church, Gold Star Wives,
VFW Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Aurora High School, Class of
1939. She worked as a Legal Secretery for Attourneys, L.
Davies, Harvey Greene and Arnold McGill, retiring after over 32 years
of service .
Surviving are Daughter, Peggy (Charles) Lockwood of Aurora, IN; (Girls
raised by Lucille)Carolyn Tillman of Fairfax, VA and Patricia Kittle of
Aurora, IN; Grandchildren Steve Lockwood, Angie Konya and Stacie
Stevenson; 3 Great Grand Grandchildren & 1 Gr. Great
Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry N. "Gabby" McKain and
Sister Jeannie Kremer.
Friends
will be received 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the
Rullman Hunger Denney Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Thursday, at 11:00
am with Father Joseph Feltz officiating.
Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, . Color Guard
Services will be conducted by the Korean War Veterans and the American
Veterans.

Edward Courter, 58 years old of Lawrenceburg, IN, died
Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Dearborn County Hospital.
He was born Friday, July 7, 1950 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Son of the late Edward and Janet (Clark) Courter.
He is survived by his wife, Candy Courter; 3 Sons, Phillip Courter of Bunker Hill, IN, Tim Courter of Greendale, IN, Scott Courter of Greendale, IN; 3 Daughters, Nadja (husband Medhi) Hammoum of Moores Hill, IN, Becky (husband David) Ingle of Moores Hill, IN, Sarah (husband Clarence) Ott of Aurora, IN; 3 Brothers, Ronald Courter, Randy Courter, and Danny Courter; 2 Sisters, Susie Dell, Brenda Brown; and 9 Grandchildren.
Friends will be received 10-12:00pm, Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 12:00pm with Pastor Joseph Hart officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, IN 47025.
