Kacey Musgraves Leads Country Winners At Grammy Awards

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Kacey Musgraves is the big country winner at the 56th annual Grammy Awards. The four-time nominee captured two awards at Sunday's event on CBS, including Best Country Album for "Same Trailer Different Park." Kacey was stunned to get the nod.

Kacey was also one of several country stars who performed at the event. She was surrounded by neon cacti as she sang her hit "Follow Your Arrow" on the show. Taylor Swift was also a four-time nominee, but went home empty handed. But she performed during the ceremony as well, accompanying herself on the piano for the song "All Too Well." Hunter Hayes introduced his new single "Invisible," a song of support and encouragement for those who've been bullied. Keith Urban took part in one of the night's many collaborations, sharing the stage with Gary Clark Jr. to deliver his latest single, "Cop Car." Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert performed as well, but not together. Blake took part in a Grammy salute to "outlaw" country with Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Merle Haggard, while Miranda helped pay tribute to the Everly Brothers' Phil Everly.

Daft Punk, Lorde, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were the night's big winners. Other country stars capturing awards include Darius Rucker, The Civil Wars, Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell, and the Del McCoury Band.
