One of country's greatest bands is receiving another honor.
(Nashville, TN) -- Alabama is getting an award of a lifetime.
The iconic country supergroup will be recognized with the Lifetime Entertainment Achievement Award at the 11th annual T.J. Martell Foundation Nashville Honors Gala.
The event takes place February 25th.
The T.J. Martell Foundation helps fund innovative medical research, focusing on treating and curing cancer.

Funds raised from the program were distributed to Ripley County Elementary Schools this month.
The event was previously scheduled to take place this week.
