Alan Jackson Releases Statement Following Death Of Son-In-Law

The Jackson family is still reeling from the loss.

(Undated)  --  Alan Jackson is speaking out following the tragic death of his son-in-law. 

Twenty-eight-year-old Ben Selecman was killed on September 12th in a boating accident.  He was an assistant DA in Nashville and was married to Jackson's oldest daughter, Mattie. 

The country music icon recently shared a touching message on social media, calling his son-in-law a godly man who loved the outdoors. 

He wrote, quote, "Rest in Peace until we see you again."
