The show may be ready for a third season, but is judge Luke Bryan?

(Undated)  --  "American Idol" is returning for a third season.

The reality singing show made the announcement earlier this week.

Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie have teamed up for both of the first two seasons on ABC.

There's no word yet on whether they'll return in 2020, but Bryan says "they're talking."
