Carrie was congratulated by her friend Randy Travis.

(Nashville, TN)  --  Carrie Underwood is celebrating ten years as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Her childhood hero, Randy Travis, surprised her on stage over the weekend to congratulate her.

She had just wrapped up a performance of Travis' 1987 hit song, "I Told You So."

The country music icon is the one who presented Underwood with an invitation to join the Opry in 2008.
