Country Music Documentary To Premiere On PBS

The documentary filmmaker's latest work premiers September 15.

(Nashville, TN)  --  Ken Burns is releasing a 16-hour country music documentary, which will premiere on PBS. 

Burns and his team spent eight years on the film, which will air on September 15th. 

In honor of its release, the Ryman Auditorium hosted an all-star concert called "Country Music: Live at the Ryman, a Concert Celebrating the Film by Ken Burns." 

PBS will air the concert on September 8th.
