Dan + Shay Speak Out Following CMA Loss

The duo came up empty at the CMA Awards, but they are over it.

(Undated)  --  Dan Smyers of Dan + Shay is speaking out after last week's devastating losses at the CMA Awards.

The duo was up for four awards, including Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Video of the Year and Vocal Duo of the Year. They didn't take home any of them.

Smyers admits he spent the very next day being sad because he's human.

Now, he says he's back to being grateful and reflecting on what an incredible year it's been.
