Dolly Parton Thanks Fans For Their Love After Brother's Death

Floyd Parton died last week.

(Undated)  --  Dolly Parton is thanking her fans for their love and support following the death of her younger brother. 

Songwriter and composer Floyd Parton died last week at the age of 61.  He was laid to rest on Monday. 

Dolly Parton tells "People" the whole family wants to thank everyone for their kindness these past few days. 

She went on to say Floyd "lived a short life of love and beautiful songs."
