Dolly Parton To Be Honored As MusiCares "Person Of The Year"

Parton will be the first artist from the Nashville music community to be honored by MusiCares.

(Nashville, TN)  --  Country music icon Dolly Parton will be honored as the 2019 MusiCares "Person of the Year." 

The event will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City during GRAMMY Week in February. 

"I am so excited and humbled to be honored as MusiCares Person of the Year. It's even more special knowing the gala benefits music people in need. I can't wait to hear all of the great artists singing my music,” said Dolly.

Parton, an eight-time GRAMMY-award winner, will be the first artist from the Nashville music community to be honored by the organization.
