Dolly Parton To Celebrate 50 Years With Grand Ole Opry 

Parton became a member of the Opry family in 1969.

(Nashville, TN)  --  The Grand Ole Opry is celebrating legendary singer Dolly Parton. 

The country music icon will celebrate her 50th anniversary as a member of the Opry tomorrow, January 4th. 

The Opry plans to commemorate the milestone with "Dolly Week." 

The event will include a number of performances on October 10th, 11th and 12th.
