Former Home Of Johnny Cash's Parents For Sale

Johnny Cash spent his final days in the home.

(Hendersonville, TN)  --  A piece of country music history is for sale in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

The house where Johnny Cash's parents lived is listed for $845,000. The ranch-style home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Cash is said to have recorded some of the songs for his "American V" album in the house.

Current owner Brian Oxley told "The Tennessean," Johnny and June spent their last months in the home because his eyesight wasn't well.  Also because he was in a wheelchair and his bedroom at his house was on the upper floor.
