Garth Brooks Receives New Caring And Compassion Award

Garth has done a lot of good with his fame and fortune.

(New York, NY)  --  Garth Brooks is being recognized for his compassion. 

The legendary country music star received the inaugural George H.W. Bush Points of Light Award for Caring and Compassion at an event in New York City last night. 

The global nonprofit, Point of Light, created the award to honor those who advance solutions to the world's toughest problems. 

It was named after its late founder and the 41st president of the United States, George H.W. Bush.
