Jake Hoot Wins "The Voice"

Hoot is the first contestant who initially only got one chair turn during an audition to win the whole season.

(Universal City, CA)  --  Jake Hoot is the winner of Season 17 of "The Voice." 

The missionary kid from Corpus Christi, Texas took home the top prize during the season finale last night on NBC. 

He's the first contestant who initially only got one chair turn during an audition to win the whole season.  

Hoot also took the stage last night with four-time Grammy Award winners Little Big Town for a collaboration on the group's latest single, "Over Drinking."
