Jake Owen will appear along some big-name actors in "The Friend."
(Undated) -- Jake Owen is making his acting debut.
The country singer will appear in a new movie called The Friend, about a man's relationship with his terminally-ill wife and his best friend.
The whole cast includes Dakota Johnson, Jason Segel, Casey Affleck and more. A release date has not been announced.
Owen’s next album Greetings From…Jake arrives March 29.
