Jennifer Nettles Cast In Upcoming Harriet Tubman Film

When Jennifer isn't singing, she's acting.

(Undated)  --  Jennifer Nettles is getting some more screen time. 

The Sugarland front-woman has been cast in an upcoming film about iconic abolitionist Harriet Tubman. 

The film, called "Harriet," is slated to begin filming next month in Virginia. 

Nettles made her on-screen debut three years ago when she was cast as Dolly Parton's mother, Avie, in the movie "Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors."
