Jimmie Allen's "Best Shot" Is #1

Allen is the first black artist to score a career number one in country radio.

(Undated)  --  Newcomer Jimmie Allen has the number-one song on country radio. 

"Best Shot" made it to the top spot on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts this week. 

It's the first single form Allen's debut album, 'Mercury Lane.'
