Whitley died suddenly in 1989 at the age of 33, but not before leaving some country music hits.
(Nashville, TN) -- Several artists are coming together this weekend in honor of country music legend Keith Whitley.
They include Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Tracy Lawrence and Mark Chesnutt.
The Keith Whitley 30th Anniversary Memorial Concert takes place at the country Music Hall of Fame's CMA Theater on Thursday.

Following his release from prison, Sartin will serve five years on supervised probation and will be prohibited from having contact with minor children.
The work will be completed over two days.
The game will be held June 1 at a site to be determined.
