(Undated) -- Country music sweetheart Kelsea Ballerini could be teaming up with EDM duo the Chainsmokers for a new project.
The artists teased fans on Twitter this week with a possible collaboration.
The Chainsmokers first tweeted Ballerini, asking if she thought "people were ready," and she replied, quote, "I'll tell you a story before it tells itself...." followed by a winking emoji.
Florida Georgia Line's cross-genre collaboration with Bebe Rexha has been breaking chart records all year. Maren Morris' colab' with Zedd and Grey was also a big hit with fans.
