Alaina is not saying exactly what the emergency was.

(Rochester, NY)  --  Lauren Alaina is apologizing to fans after she was forced to cancel a concert in Rochester, New York.

The singer was supposed to perform last night as part of a local summer concert series but was forced to cancel due to a "family medical emergency," according to the radio station that was putting the event on.

Alaina later apologized on social media.

She did not say what the family emergency was, but Alaina revealed a few months ago that her stepfather was battling Stage 4 cancer.
