NOFX Apologizes After Joking About Vegas Shooting

The punk rock group made some insensitive comments about the 2017 massacre at a country music concert.

(Las Vegas, NV)  --  NOFX is apologizing after joking about the deadly Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting in Las Vegas. 

The band was performing at the Punk Rock Bowling & Musical Festival when guitarist Eric Melvin told the crowd "you only get shot in Vegas if you're in a country band." 

Frontman Fat Mike added, "At least they were country fans and not punk rock fans." 

The band took to social media, saying they've had trouble sleeping since the incident and are working on a "sincere and honest apology."
