The singing competition show will tape this summer.

(Nashville, TN)  --  Travis Tritt is trying his hand at reality TV.

He's been selected as a judge on "Real Country," an upcoming singing competition.  Shania Twain and Jake Owen will also be at the judge's table.

Tritt says, "I've never been shy about how I feel about country music so I can't wait to join 'Real Country' to share my experiences and thoughts."

The eight-episode series will tape in Nashville this summer and will air later this year on USA Network.
