(Dillsboro, Ind.) – Another water main break has been reported in Dillsboro.
According to Dillsboro Utilities, the water line break occurred this morning on North Street between Holland Drive and State Road 262.
This comes after two water line breaks that occurred in the area earlier this week.
The Town of Dillsboro says the frequent breaks are due to aging lines, which will be replaced as part of a $2.9 million project scheduled to begin in August.
In the meantime, a water boil advisory is in effect residents along North Street from Holland Drive to State Road 262. Residents in the area may experience cloudy water.
The advisory will last into Tuesday, pending testing.
