Aurora Lions Club to Host Blood Drive June 22

Donors will receive a Cincinnati Reds packable jacket.

(Aurora, Ind.) – The Aurora Lions Club is partnering with Hoxworth Blood Center for an upcoming blood drive.

The event will take place on Wednesday, June 22 at the Aurora Lions Club from noon to 2:15 and 3:30 to 6:00.

To give blood, you must:

  • Be at least 17 years old, or 16 years old with parental consent
  • Weigh a minimum of 110 pounds
  • Provide photo ID
  • Eat a good meal within four hours before giving
  • Drink plenty of water or juice before or after donating
