Bridge work on the Markland Dam began Tuesday and will continue into September.

(Switzerland County, Ind.) - Some road work is happening on the Markland Dam, which may cause some traffic delays if you drive across it.
The repairs began Tuesday, August 27. A temporary traffic signal for alternating traffic has been put in place as there is only one lane of the bridge open.
The work is expected to wrap up by September 10. Until then, you should expect a brief delay when crossing the dam.
Heads up for those who cross Markland Dam from Switzerland County... https://t.co/IWNkn7hhcT
