Child Attacked By Dog

(Osgood, Ind.) - A child has been taken to the hospital after being attacked by a dog in the small town of Osgood Monday afternoon.

 

Neighbors tell Eagle 99.3 just before 4:00, the young boy had entered the yard of a home on Maple Street and was mauled by the dog. 

 

The boy, said to be about six-years-old, was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital by medical helicopter.

 

The incident is being investigated by the Osgood Police Department, Ripley County dispatchers said.
