City Of Rising Sun Ready For Community Yard Sale & Clean Up

The annual yard sale starts Thursday and runs through Saturday.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – Deals, deals and more deals.

The 2019 Spring Community Yard Sale and Clean Up will take place Thursday, May 2 through Saturday, May 4 in the City of Rising Sun.

A full list of participating residents is listed at www.cityofrisingsun.com.

In addition to the city-wide yard sale, Rising Sun and Ohio County residents only are encouraged to throw out unwanted household items.

The City of Rising Sun will make dumpsters available at the city’s brush dump on Saturday, May 4 from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m.

There are a few items that are not permitted at the dump. There are liquids, hazardous waste, wet or lead paint, closed drums, Freon containing refrigeration equipment, tires or mercury containing lamps.

City workers will be on hand to help maximize space in the dumpsters.
