Closure Begins Along State Road 1 in Franklin Co.

A bridge replacement project is expected to last up to 13 weeks.

(Franklin County, Ind.) - A portion of State Road 1 is closed in Franklin County. 

INDOT contractor Paul H. Rohe Company closed State Road 1 at Butlers Run Bridge on Tuesday to begin a bridge replacement project. 

The closure is located approximately one mile north of State Road 101 and is expected to be in place for up to 13 weeks. 

During the closure, motorists should use the official detour which follows State Road 101 to State Road 44 to State Road 1 in Connersville. 

Additional work will take place along State Road 1 at a later time.
