The Aurora Fire Department and the Switzerland County TEC Center will be open to those ice storm victims needing a warm place to stay.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Aurora Fire Department will again provide emergency shelter for those going on two days without electricity Friday night.
The shelter is located at the Aurora Fire Department, 5950 Dutch Hollow Road, just off of U.S. 50. Individual beds and an emergency generator are available at the fire department.
Those planning to utilize the emergency shelter should call ahead to the Aurora Fire Department, (812) 926-1682. Those who would like to make a food donation for the emergency shelter should also call the fire department.
A warming center will also be available again Friday night at the Switzerland County TEC Center on West Seminary Street in Vevay.
