Dearborn Co. Areas to Avoid Due to High Water

Motorists are reminded to never drive over flooded roads.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - Heavy rain impacted the tri-state area over the weekend, causing high water on area roads. 

According to Dearborn County EMA, the Ohio River is currently predicted to crest at 53.4’ later this week.

The flooding has closed or will close some roadways in Dearborn County.  Please avoid the following areas:

  • State Road 56 in Aurora between Judiciary and 4th.
  • East Laughery at Shilo Lane (currently closed) - update posted below
  • Cross Road at Goose Run (currently closed)
  • Park Avenue
  • Cole Lane

Motorists are reminded to never drive over flooded roads.
