Dearborn Co. Plan Commission Schedules Public Workshop to Discuss Zoning Ordinance

All citizens and business owners are invited to attend.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The Dearborn County Plan Commission will hold a public workshop on Thursday, July 14 at Agner Hall in the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds.

The open house will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. to discuss:

DRAFT updates to the Dearborn County Zoning Ordinance, specifically with respect to the text(s) of Articles 9 and 10, regarding Agricultural and Residential Zoning Districts, including ordinances related to the keeping of animals. Dearborn County officials and staff will also be on-hand to discuss two (2) different DRAFT Zoning Map alternatives to coincide with the DRAFT updates to the Agricultural and Residential Zoning Districts, and their permitted and conditional uses, new or expanded or amended definitions of uses and related limitations, changes to standards such as setbacks, min. lot sizes and widths, etc.

All citizens and business owners in Dearborn County are in invited to attend.
