(Sunman, Ind.) - East Central High School's Sophie Browndyke will be featured in Super Bowl campaign.
Procter & Gamble brand, Secret, will air a Super Bowl advertisement to promote equal opportunity for female athletes.
During the big game Sunday, Secret Deodorant’s #kickInequality will Tweet out the above photo that includes East Central kicker Sophie Browndyke, Oak Hills kicker Kailee Herbert and first-grader Teagan Schroeder.
The girls’ uniforms will be altered to white and blue to match the Secret brand.
"More than two-thirds of girls believe that society doesn’t encourage women to play sports so we are setting out to change this notion by spotlighting fierce female athletes – specifically two major women’s soccer players – in ‘The Secret Kicker,’ which is aimed at defying conventional expectations and championing equal opportunities for women," reads a description of the commercial preview.
This campaign will also feature prominent female athletes, including U.S. soccer players Carli Lloyd and Crystal Dunn.
