(Undated) – Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend.

Clocks will “fall back” one hour on Sunday, November 5 at 2:00 a.m.

At that time, clocks should be set back an hour to 1:00 a.m. local standard time. Following the time change, the sun will rise approximately one hour earlier each morning.

The amount of daylight will continue to lessen each day until December 21 when the winter solstice arrives.

In recent years, there has been a political fight to make daylight saving time permanent, but proposed legislation has sat idle since March, according to a report from Axios.

Currently, Hawaii and Arizona are the only states that do not observe daylight saving time.
