"There's a reason we're doing this, for legacy," said Tony Maas.

(Harrison, Oh.) – JTM Food Group’s new $26 million, 190,000 square foot expansion in Harrison is about creating a legacy for the proudly family-owned company.
"We've grown a long way since those days at the Butcher Shop," said company president Tony Maas at the ribbon cutting of the impressive, state-of-the-art facility Monday.
JTM was founded in 1960 by Jack Maas, Sr. as Maas Brothers Meats. The deli served residents on Cincinnati's west side. The Maas family has only grown the business since those humble beginnings.
Monday’s event marked a metaphorical growth spurt. The larger plant on Industrial Drive will create up to 100 new jobs, while also doubling production capacity to 185 million pounds of kettle-cooked foods.
Construction on the expansion began in August of 2016.
JTM’s products are sold throughout North America to thousands of schools, restaurants, military and government organizations, food distributors, and retailers.
