Fight Leads To Stabbing In Florence

(Florence, Ky.) – A Florence man has been arrested after a Monday evening stabbing in northern Kentucky.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident in the 200 block of Lakeview Drive around 7:24 p.m.

Deputies say Felix Williams, 42, became involved in a verbal altercation with Bryan Watkins, 34, after an incident involving their children at a nearby park.

The verbal altercation led to a physical fight. During the fight, Williams allegedly brandished a knife and stabbed Watkins multiple times in the back.

Watkins was transported to UC Medical Center and is currently listed in stable condition.

Williams was taken to the Boone County Detention Center and charged with one count of Assault 2nd Degree (Class C Felony).

He is held with no bond.
