Fire Reported in Penntown

State Road 46 has been temporarily shut down in the area.

(Penntown, Ind.) - Multiple agencies are on the scene of a structure fire. 

According to Ripley County EMA, the fire was reported just before 8:00 a.m. near the 9000 block of E. State Road 46 and Penntown Road. 

Due to the fire, both lanes of State Road 46 are temporarily closed. 

Motorists should seek and alternative route and avoid the area.
