Four SEI School Corporations Score eLearning Grants

The grant money will help schools purchase devices to improve science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - A few southeastern Indiana schools are receiving grants to help boost their digital learning in STEM subjects.

The Indiana Department of Education Office of eLearning announced its 2019 Digital Learning Grants on Monday.  The grants offer $20,000 up to $50,000 for each school district to purchase devices for coding, robotics, or teacher professional development.

Local school corporations awarded eLearning grants this year are Batesville, Milan, South Dearborn and South Ripley.

In all, 48 school districts were awarded Digital Learning Grants totaling over $2.2 million.
