(Franklin County, Ind.) - The United Way and The Franklin County Community Foundation recently partnered to meet an urgent need this summer.
The organizations came together when they discovered Red Life Food Bank needed a compressor for one of their large freezers. This issue was resolved following a donation from the United Way and FCCF.
According to pantry coordinator, Judy Drake, “So many people depend on the food bank and they continually tell how grateful they are and how it makes a difference in their lives.”
The freezers help Red Life Food Bank provide protein options for the families they serve.
