(Brookville, Ind.) – Community members are encouraged to come together to help a soon to be 6th grader battling Leukemia.

Kale Prifogle, 12, has been battling Leukemia since December.

He is currently recovering from a bone marrow transplant he received in June.

A fundraising event entitled Kale’n It will be held on Saturday, July 10 at St. Peter’s Church in Brookville. Proceeds will support the Prifogle family.

The event will feature a chicken dinner, live auction, live music, and more. Dinner tickets are $15 and will be pre-sold at St. Leon Tavern and Klump’s Tavern.

T-shirts, hats, and sweatshirts will also be available for purchase.
