UPDATE: Greendale Pool Reopens After Issue In Filter Room

Repairs will begin this week.

Update: The pool reopened on Sunday, June 6, after repairs.

(Greendale, Ind.) - Greendale residents will have to wait a little longer to enjoy time at the pool. 

The Greendale Pool is closed due to a large pipe breaking in the filter room.

City Manager Steve Lampert tells Eagle Country 99.3 that repairs will begin this week to fix the broken 8" pipe. Repairs will be followed by testing to make sure water quality is up to par with health department standards. 

The City is aiming to reopen the pool sometime next week. 

Lampert says the pool could open sooner, if the City is cleared to do so.
