Many residents in Ripley County reported hearing explosions Monday.

(Versailles, Ind.) - Some loud explosions were being heard in parts of southeastern Indiana Monday.
Luckily, it’s nothing to be worried about. Indiana State Police say the loud explosions were coming from military training at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center near Butlerville.
The blasts were reportedly heard as far away as Ripley County. The Town of Osgood sent a message to its citizens explaining the source of the booms.
Indiana State Police at the Versailles Post say citizens do not need to call and report when they hear the blasts.
It is unclear how long the military training and use of explosions at Muscatatuck may last.
