(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Highpoint Health’s Auxiliary took fast action to make sure the candy, soda and snacks in the hospital gift shop didn’t fall victim to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Unfortunately, when the hospital was in lock-down mode, this included the Gift Shop,” explained Auxiliary president Sylvia Plashko. “But that didn’t mean we couldn’t share our goodies with the hardworking Highpoint Health team.”
As always, the Auxiliary had the needs of the hospital top of mind and decided to donate approximately $1,100 worth of yummy snacks and refreshing soda to the Highpoint Health staff. “I want to thank the Auxiliary on behalf of the entire Highpoint Health team,” said Kim Swanson, RN, Unit Manager for the Surgical Floor. “This is just one more example of their steadfast commitment to supporting the hospital and its staff.”
